Screen Sharing & Control
What network does ScreenMirror use?
ScreenMirror is designed to work over the same trusted local Wi-Fi or local network used by your Android device and PC.
Why does ScreenMirror need Accessibility permission?
Accessibility permission is used only for user-triggered remote control actions such as tap, swipe, keyboard input, Back, Home, and Recent.
Read the ScreenMirror Privacy Policy →Does ScreenMirror upload my screen to Shelwat?
No. ScreenMirror is designed to stream screen content locally between your Android device and your PC browser. ScreenMirror does not upload your screen to a Shelwat cloud server.
How does the Session PIN work?
A temporary Session PIN is created when a screen-sharing session starts. The PIN becomes invalid when the session stops, ScreenMirror is safely closed, or the Free session limit is reached.
Does ScreenMirror send audio through the browser?
No. Audio is not transmitted through the ScreenMirror browser stream.
Audio can be routed separately through Android Bluetooth to a compatible Bluetooth speaker or PC Bluetooth receiver.
What is the ScreenMirror Desktop Viewer?
ScreenMirror Desktop Viewer is a planned Windows companion application for ScreenMirror Pro.
The download page will become available after the Desktop Viewer has completed testing and release preparation.
